Our mission is to host the best, fun-filled, & stress-free birthday parties in Kitsap, so here are some FAQ to help you plan an amazing party with Ahoy Kitsap Playland.

What is the difference between a Small Birthday Party and a Private Party?
Open Play parties occur during our general admission hours, meaning you will be sharing the play arena with all our regular guests while we are open to the public and includes an hour in a private party room. All Small Birthday Parties include All Day Play. We highly recommend a Private Party if you are expecting more than 16 children or a large number of adults. Our Rise & Shine or Night Owl parties are great options if you are looking for a budget private party.
A Private Party means your party gets exclusive use of play arena for you and your guests for one hour followed by one hour in the private party room. Extra playtime may be purchased in advanced.
How early can we arrive to set-up or decorate?
You may load a cart with your party supplies 15-20 minutes before your party is scheduled to begin, however, you will not have access to the party room until 20 minutes before you are scheduled to enter it with the children. We only recommend simple decorations if you decide to bring your own: themed table cloths, place settings, centerpieces and a birthday banner. You will not have time to set-up anything else.
Can I just bring in some cupcakes and sing happy birthday with a group of kids without a party reservation?
We do NOT permit any unscheduled celebrations without prior approval. You may review this policy more extensively on what we allow and do not allow here.
Can we bring our own food?
YES! At this time, we do not provide any catering services but we can provide refreshments, gluten free & vegan cupcakes, and/or ice cream if you let us know in advance. Please note that we are a peanut-free facility so please do not bring any trail mix or any other foods containing peanuts.
What is included in your party packages?
All our party packages come with an assistant to help set up, white table coverings, a large birthday banner, and generic white table settings for up to 20 guests. (cups, plates, napkins, etc.). You can even upgrade to a pre-decorated party, starting at just $25, and leave the set-up to us.
Can we trade time in the party room for extra playtime?
All Open Play parties include All Day Play during our general admission hours (see our hours here). Private Parties may add extra playtime for an additional fee.
Parents concerned about the length of time in the party room should keep in mind that you must exit the party room when your party reservation has ended and should therefore reserve the last 10-15 minutes to winding down the party, thanking your guests, and moving gifts and other important items to your vehicle so you may check out on time without incurring additional fees.
Are adults included in your party packages?
We do not count or charge for adults, teens or babies under the age of 1 in any of our party packages. However, if you are expecting a lot of adult guests we highly recommend you reserve a private party for the best party experience.
What else should we know?
We have a fairly small parking lot so encourage your guests to carpool if possible to ensure they can find a parking spot. Also, make sure you visit our party policy page for additional information about our parties.
